Get your wallet out! Here's what time Jacksonville stores will be open on Black Friday
With Christmas almost a month away, it may seem like there's plenty of time to complete that holiday shopping list. But as most know all too well, that month will speed on by.
Black Friday, however, is only one week away and a great time to stock up on discounted Christmas gifts before the season kicks into high gear. Although many stores hold extended Black Friday sales throughout the month of November, those who wish to shop on the day itself will have plenty of places to choose from.
Here’s a list of stores holding Black Friday deals and when they plan to open for shoppers in the Jacksonville area.

Walmart
Walmart is holding its third annual “Black Friday Deals for Days" this year, with events throughout the month of November.
A new Black Friday sale has launched at Walmart every Monday this month, but there's still time to get in on the action. Event three deals begin online on Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. and continue in stores on Black Friday, which is Nov. 25.
From clothes to toys, appliances and more, there will likely be something for everyone on your Christmas shopping list. Both Jacksonville Walmarts will be open during regular store hours, from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Target
Target's official Black Friday sale will be live on Nov. 25-27, according to Business Insider.
There will be sales on everything from jewelry to electronics and decor. The Jacksonville Target will be open regular store hours this year, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Jacksonville Mall
The Jacksonville Mall will be closed on Thanksgiving Day to allow retail employees to enjoy the holiday with their families but will reopen at 6 a.m. on Black Friday, according to a recent news release from the mall.
The release said every Wednesday between Black Friday week and Christmas week, shoppers will be randomly surprised by Jacksonville Mall staff members with a retailer gift card or sweet treat.
“We’re looking forward to kicking off the holiday season with the Onslow County community at the Jacksonville Mall,” said Mall Marketing and Administrative Coordinator Kilikena Jordan in the release. “The next couple of weeks will offer something special for all ages to get in the holiday spirit. The Jacksonville Mall is the perfect location to celebrate and shop for your gift list with unbeatable deals and events.”
The release added the mall encourages shoppers to shop early to ensure product availability and to exercise consideration for retail workers throughout the season.

Belk
Belk's Black Friday sale starts on Nov. 18-26 both in-store and online, apart from Thanksgiving Day when the store will be closed.
The Jacksonville Belk is located at 300 Jacksonville Mall and will have deals on everything from apparel to robot vacuums and toys. Belk will also be holding a $1 million gift card giveaway on Black Friday at 7 a.m. and Saturday, Nov. 26 at 8 a.m. with over 175 winners per store per day. Prizes range from $5 to $250.
The Daily News called Belk to find out what time they'd be opening on Black Friday but were told hours were not locked down yet.

JCPenney
JCPenney, located in the Jacksonville Mall, will be opening at 5 a.m. on Black Friday. The store will have deals on everything from apparel to kitchen appliances, tech gadgets and more.

Big Lots
Big Lots, located at 1110 Western Boulevard in Jacksonville, will hold a Black Friday sale from Nov. 19 through Nov. 27. They are one of the few stores open on Thanksgiving and even have a Thanksgiving-only sale, with deals like 50% off toys.
Then, on Black Friday, Saturday and Sunday, deals will be in full effect such as 50% off air fryers and other appliances. The Jacksonville Big Lots will be open their normal hours on Black Friday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Best Buy
Best Buy in Jacksonville is located at 1116 Western Boulevard. This year, according to Best Buy's website, there will be deals on everything from TVs to computers and video games.
Sales begin on Nov. 20. The Jacksonville Best Buy will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Black Friday with a 48-hour online event.

Old Navy in Jacksonville is located at 1250 Western Boulevard and will be open from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Black Friday.

The Jacksonville Kohl's, located at 2132 Gateway Drive South, will open at 5 a.m. on Black Friday.
Shoppers can shop in-store and online the week of Nov. 20 through Black Friday and for every $50 spent, you receive $15 in Kohl's cash. There will also be an extra 15% taken off in-store and online.
