HOLLAND TWP. — With convenient grab-and-go sections, a brand-new pharmacy and an expanded grocery department, Walmart hopes to impress customers following a "much-anticipated" remodel in Holland Township.

The store celebrated the completed project Friday, June 10, at 2629 N. Park Drive with a grant presentation to Hope College — plus product tastings, giveaways and food trucks.

“Nearly every department in this store was refreshed in one way or another and our customers will notice the exciting updates as soon as they walk through the door,” store manager Zach Bossick wrote in a statement. “These improvements will not only offer a fresh, new look, but also help customers save time and money.”

Improvements include expanded produce and dairy sections, a new pharmacy location near the front of the store, checkout improvements, a dollar-shop area, new grab-and-go deli and lunch items and a more convenient grocery pickup location.

Walmart continues to offer free curbside pickup for groceries through the Walmart app, plus free pharmacy curbside pickup and convenient delivery service.

The store also offers a membership program with free, unlimited deliveries, member prices for gas, use of the scan-and-go app (allowing for scanning while shopping for faster checkout) and access to exclusive deals. Learn more at walmart.com.

Walmart is open 6 a.m.-11 p.m. daily in Holland Township.
