Believe it or not, using a proper gardening hose can have a huge impact on how well your garden flourishes, as each one varies in portability, durability and even user comfort, which will ultimately allow you to water your plants longer and more often. It was easy to maneuver, and, as the name implies, was super bendable and stretchy throughout all of our tests. It’s also made from lead-free materials, which we noted as another impressive feature, as it means it’s safe to drink from.
Beyond its über-flexible design, the Flexzilla aced the durability tests that we put it through. When we smacked it down against the pavement, its fittings came back with only a few minor scuffs, leaving it in largely excellent condition. Its neon green hue was another added bonus, since it made it easy to spot and didn’t heat the water in the sun the way a darker hose would.
While it wasn’t the most portable model we tried (aluminum hoses are easier to move, though this coiled option performed quite well, considering its construction), it still came out at the top of the garden hose heap overall.
