WHAT DO YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU GROW UP? – Stylist

IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT SCHOOL, WHAT WOULD IT BE? – Not having to wake up as early for school.

IF YOU COULD HAVE A SUPERPOWER, WHAT WOULD IT BE AND HOW WOULD YOU USE IT TO CHANGE THE WORLD? – Teleportation. Then, I could go to multiple places in the same day and accomplish more.

Ashlee Stump, Alliance Middle School, eighth grade − Ashlee is consistently respectful and caring in her interactions with both students and staff.

Azavion King, Alliance Middle School, eighth grade − Azavion is a bright student, respectful in his interactions with staff, and a natural leader among his classmates.

CANTON CITY

Sa’Vey Kelly, AIM Academy @ Belden, fourth grade − Sa'Vey is a quiet student but models the BARK expectations in all areas of the school. She loves singing in the choir and her teacher can't say enough about her hard work and her determination in the classroom.

Arsenio Smith, Crenshaw Middle School, seventh grade − Arsenio sets himself apart from his peers with his calm demeanor and kind words. He is focused in class and is always willing to help those around him.

Promise Turner, Canton South Middle School, sixth grade − Promise Turner recently joined our district, and we are so lucky to have her as a Wildcat now! She is always willing to ask questions and constantly strives to be her best!

Giovanni Scalia, Canton South Middle School, sixth grade − Giovanni Scalia has the kindest heart and is very personable! He values education and puts forth an impressive effort each day!

Sylvia Twaddle, Fairless Middle School, seventh grade − Sylvia is an outstanding student and person. She values learning and uses her creativity in her learning. She is kind and always has an upbeat personality.

William Ickes, Fairless Middle School, sixth grade − William Ickes is a wonderful young man who strives for excellence in all he does. He actively engages in class discussions, is always prepared, and is a thorough and meticulous writer. William is helpful to his peers and teachers and always has a smile on his face. He truly is a model student, and an absolute pleasure to have in class.

LAKE CENTER CHRISTIAN

Johanna King, Lake Center Christian School, seventh grade − Johanna is described by her peers as thoughtful, caring, compassionate, and as someone they can count on as a friend. She loves her peers and fellow students and displays character traits such as leadership, persistence, and patience. She strives for excellence in all that she does.

Anderson Dishong, Lake Center Christian School, sixth grade − Anderson demonstrates devotion and eagerness in tasks he undertakes. Anderson has a compassionate and kind heart, a love for the Lord; and he strives to build into the lives of other students.

LOUISVILLE CITY

Campbell Pittman, Louisville Middle School, seventh grade − Campbell is such a good friend to all. She is always smiling and encouraging others. Her example is a great role model to all! We are lucky she is at LMS!

Cooper Davis, Louisville Middle School, seventh grade − Cooper was part of a group organizing fundraising to donate money to help as disaster relief in Turkey. He helped coordinate spirit week for the school and all donations are being sent to help. It is impressive that as a seventh grader, he saw a need outside of his community and found a way to make a difference.

MASSILLON CITY

Paige Sirgo, Massillon Intermediate, sixth grade − Paige Sirgo is a quiet leader who is extremely conscientious about her schoolwork. Paige does the right thing all the time and is kind to all those around her. She exemplifies what it means to be a Kid of Character, and we are proud to have her represent the sixth grade at the Massillon Intermediate School.

Blake Hawk, Massillon Intermediate, sixth grade − Blake Hawk is a sixth-grade student at the Massillon Intermediate School. He is an extraordinarily kind and responsible student. He approaches school with a positive attitude daily. He focuses in class and asks relevant questions to deepen his understanding of the concepts we are learning. Blake also demonstrates responsible behavior on a daily basis. He follows school rules, helps classmates with their work, and is respectful to all adults and his classmates. Blake consistently helps others in need with classwork, organization or just to listen to a friend. Blake demonstrates a type of leadership and responsibility that goes above and beyond.

NORTH CANTON CITY

Grace Anderson, seventh grade, North Canton Middle School – Grace is an amazing young lady. She is respectful and kind. Grace enthusiastically puts forth her best effort in all that she does and we appreciate her positive attitude.

Mason Chen, seventh grade, North Canton Middle School – Mason is a caring and responsible young man.  He is inquisitive and thoughtful and determined to do well and is known to go above and beyond to ensure quality work.

PERRY LOCAL

Mia Patron, Edison, seventh grade − Mia demonstrates exceptional character no matter where she is or what she is doing. She is friendly, kind, and accepting of everyone. Mia is extremely talented and is very humble despite everything that she excels in. She is also very responsible and is a role model for all.

Lincoln McKrill, Whipple, fourth grade − Lincoln demonstrates excellent character in his hard work and respectful attitude. He has reached out to new students in the class to make sure they have friends, can find a partner, or join his friends at lunch. He is trusted by adults and looked up to by his peers at school, on the soccer field, and everywhere he goes!

PLAIN LOCAL

McKenna Zoe Alguire, Oakwood, seventh grade − McKenna is a trustworthy student who is always smiling, jovial, and welcoming to all people. She has positive relationships with her classmates and gets along with everyone. She has a good work ethic and strives for excellence.

Carter Stewart, Glenwood, fifth grade − Carter is a top-notch student. He works hard in class, is motivated, and is such a natural student, wanting to always learn and grow. He’s a good friend to everyone and is always willing to give a helping hand. We love having Carter in class. His positive attitude and desire to learn is so appreciated.

SANDY VALLEY

Anna Miller, Sandy Valley Middle School, eighth grade − Anna demonstrates kindness to her peers each day. At SVMS, she participates in Science Club as secretary, FFA, and the NASA Capstone Project, where she is studying acoustic damping inserts. Outside of school, she stays busy by dancing in the Ohio Conservatory Ballet. She is a member of 4-H, where she shows rabbits and competes in cake decorating. She is proud of her grades, and she believes it’s important to try her best in all of her classes. Anna is a terrific Cardinal!

Caleb Deubner, Sandy Valley Middle School, eighth grade − Caleb Deubner’s leadership in athletics and at SVMS makes him a great Kid of Character! Caleb plays football, basketball, and baseball, where he excels at making plays and scoring points. Caleb is always quick to lift someone up! When he isn’t working hard at school, he enjoys fishing and watching “All American.” Lastly, he believes kindness and respect are important qualities, and Caleb demonstrates both of these traits each and every day. We’re lucky to have Caleb!

ST. THOMAS AQUINAS

Elizabeth Grecol, St. Thomas Aquinas Middle School − Elizabeth is kind, responsible, and respectful to her classmates and teachers. She is a leader for her class.

Luke Schafer, St. Thomas Aquinas Middle School − Luke is respectful, a good friend, and always engaged in activities for school. He demonstrates leadership and responsibility.
