WandaVision has officially drawn to a close with an episode that is leaving viewers feeling very fragile.
After nine episodes, the first of Disney Plus’ Marvel shows aired its finale, concluding the show’s events and setting up several future MCU sequels.
The action-packed episode wasted no time in picking up where the penultimate left off – and refused to hold back on the emotion.
*Spoilers follow – you have been warned*
WandaVision’s finale saw Wanda shut down her sitcom reality in Westview, New Jersey. After realising that she was torturing the residents by holding them under her spell, she set them free.

However, this came at the cost of her cosy life with her husband, Vision (Paul Bettany), and their two children, Tommy and Billy.
After a duel with ancient sorceress Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn), Wanda wins out, defeating her by stealing her power, It’s here that Wanda completes her transformation into the Scarlet Witch, fulfilling her prophecy.
Before she leaves Westview, though, emotional scenes show her saying goodbye to her children and Vision for the final time. As the Hex is removed, she is left standing alone.
The result makes for some of Marvel’s most moving scenes to date, and fans expressed this sentiment on Twitter after watching the episode.
