Airport manager - Airlines
Description: Responsible for airline agreements and airport tenant Relations; should possess lease-contract management experience related to commercial air carriers, land, and building leases and have experience dealing with service permits related to airline terminal services. The selected candidates’ primary responsibilities will be focused on airline and tenant relations, lease agreement negotiations, maintenance, compliance and enforcement, terminal tenant building development and expansion.
Salary range: $91,157.25 to $145,487.31 annually

Airport operations supervisor
Description: Responsible for administrative and supervisory work in managing the overall operation of the Aviation Operations Division. Work may involve planning, coordinating and managing the operation of the airport operations control center, terminal, landside and airfield.
Salary range: $68,259.34 to $108,940.92 annually

Airport painter
Description: Responsible for skilled work in airfield and taxiway markings, painting of interior and exterior buildings, fixtures, signs and various equipment. Duties involve the application of paint to a variety of surfaces using a brush, roller, spray gun and linelazer equipment.
Salary range: $19.78 to $24.20 hourly

Airport refrigeration mechanic
Description: Responsible for skilled work in mechanical refrigeration in the installation, maintenance and repair of refrigeration equipment, air conditioning systems and centrifugal chillers. Work involves the servicing of air conditioning systems and units, refrigerators, water cooling systems and related equipment utilized in a wide variety of county facilities and buildings.
Salary range: $24.57 to $31.16 hourly

Aviation electronics technician
Description: Responsible for moderate supervisory and skilled technical work in coordinating the inspecting, installation, adjustments, maintenance, and modification of process instrumentation equipment, PLC’s, computers and peripherals, electronic control mechanisms, A/D converters, pneumatic/hydraulic controllers, encoded digital frequency shaft telemetry, Variable Frequency Drives and related communications and conveyor equipment.

Contract/Grant Administrator, senior - Aviation Maintenance
Description: Responsible for supervisory work in initiating, coordinating and administering assigned programs or projects involving public sector procurements and contracts. This position will be responsible for the janitorial services contract for Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, North Perry Airport and ancillary buildings.
Salary range: $73,378.12 to $97,431.42 annually
Enterprise Director of Planning - Aviation
Description: Responsible for divisional work involving the oversight and direction of the development, implementation and promotion of the department’s programs. Works under limited supervision, developing and implementing programs within organizational policies and reports major activities to executive level administrators through conferences and reports.
Salary range: $105,344.16 - $168,128.88 annually
Maintenance mechanic - Aviation
Description: Responsible for inspecting, maintaining and performing all preventative maintenance on Jetways. Additional responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance on all Airport sliding glass doors, fire extinguishers, perimeter gates and overhead doors throughout the terminals and concourses.
Salary range: $21.26 to $26.97 hourly

Staff engineer - Aviation Capital Projects
Description: Responsible for professional and administrative work assisting in the management of airport projects for the county. These projects will include landside, airfield and building projects. In addition, the staff engineer supports the construction project managers and engineers in their management and engineering activities.
Salary range: $68,259.36 to $93,685.34 annually
