Want to attend Governor-elect Jeff Landry inaugural ball? Here's how the public can go

LAFAYETTE - Louisiana Gov.-elect Jeff Landry and future First Lady Sharon Landry are opening their inauguration ball to the public, he announced during a press conference here Wednesday.

Landry said 5,000 tickets to the black tie ball at Raising Canes River Center in Baton Rouge will be available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis through the oneteam.la website.

The event is 7 p.m. Jan. 8. Tickets are $100.

Those interested should access the oneteam.la website and click on the inauguration tab to order tickets.

"It's going to be an unbelievable celebration," Landry said. "This is the people's administration, and we want to give everyone the opportunity to celebrate."
