Surprising no one, Ford dealerships and lucky first owners across the country have begun to tack on gigantic markups on new Broncos, aiming to capitalize on the shortage of new cars nationwide and the SUV's massive demand. This Bronco First Edition listed for sale on eBay right now for $150,000 is the worst offender yet.

No, that's not a typo. 150 large. That's $87,395 on top of this Bronco's $62,605 MSRP. The First Edition is arguably the most desirable version of the reborn SUV out there, limited to just 7000 units and highly equipped from the factory. It gets the 330-hp twin-turbo V-6 and 10-speed automatic as standard, plus the Lux package and the Sasquatch package. Still, none of those things are worth paying over double what you should be.

For comparison, you can go out and buy a brand-new Audi R8 for $7000 less than this Bronco. Want something a bit more usable? A Porsche 911 Targa 4S also comes in under budget. If you absolutely must have an SUV, every Range Rover on sale right now comes in at under $150,000 to start.

Those things being said, we wouldn't be surprised if this 200-mile Bronco First Edition finds a buyer willing to pay the price. According to the seller on eBay, it was the first Bronco to be delivered in Long Island, New York, and looks to be in like-new condition. Our advice? Wait a year and pay sticker. It's not like the Bronco is getting any less cool.
