Mardi Gras season is in full swing across Acadiana. The 2022 celebration is jam packed with activities and parades for everyone from spectators and krewes to canines and kids. Below, you'll find a list of parades by parish.

Lafayette Parish

February 18

  • Krewe de Canailles - downtown Lafayette 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

February 19

  • Carencro Mardi Gras Parade - starting at Carencro High School 11:00 a.m.

  • Krewe des Chiens - downtown Lafayette 12 p.m.

  • Krewe of Carnivale en Rio Mardi Gras Parade - starting Downtown Lafayette ending at Cajun Field 6:30 p.m.

February 20

  • Scott Mardi Gras Parade - starting at Apollo Drive in Scott at 1:00 p.m.

February 25

  • COVID Heroes Parade - starting at Pontiac Point ending at Cajun Field parade begins at 6:30 p.m.

February 26

  • Youngsville Mardi Gras Parade - starting on Chemin Metairie Parkway near Youngsville Sports complex at 11:00 a.m. ending near Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy

  • Children's Parade - starting Downtown at 12:30 p.m. ending at Cajun Field

  • Krewe of Bonaparte Mardi Gras Parade- starting Downtown ending at Cajun Field parade begins at 6:30 p.m.

February 28

  • Queen Evangeline’s Parade - starting downtown at 6:00 p.m. ending at Cajun Field

March 1 (Mardi Gras)

  • King Gabriel’s Parade - starting downtown at 10:00 a.m. ending at Cajun Field

  • Independent Parade - starting downtown at 2:30 p.m. ending at Cajun Field

February 26

  • Sunset Mardi Gras Parade - starting behind Janise’s Supermarket at 11:00 a.m.

February 27

  • Eunice Lil’ Mardi Gras - parade starts in downtown Eunice at 3:00 p.m.

March 1 (Mardi Gras)

  • Opelousas Mardi Gras Parade - starting near Le Vieux Village Heritage Park at 11:00 a.m.

Iberia Parish

February 5

  • Bayou Mardi Gras Parade - starting on Historic Main St. in New Iberia from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

March 1 (Mardi Gras)

  • Grand Marais Mardi Gras Parade - from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. starting at Hwy 90 E at College Rd in Jeanerette.

  • Krewe of Coteau Mardi Gras Parade - Francis Romero Memorial Park & LA 88, Coteau. 1:00 p.m.

  • Family Affair Mardi Gras Parade - starting at 2:00 p.m. on Main St. in Loreauville.

  • Cypremort Point Boat Parade - Cypremort Point State Park, Hwy. 319. 1 p.m.

  • Krewe of Dionysius Parade, Berwick - procession lines up on Gilmore Drive

February 27

  • Krewe of Galatea Parade - Morgan City - begins on 2nd Street under the La. 182 bridge and proceeds to Onstead Street

February 28

  • Krewe of Amani Parade - begins at Patterson High School on Hwy. 182/Main St.

  • Krewe of Hera Parade - begins on 2nd Street under the La. 182 bridge and proceeds to Onstead Street

March 1

  • Franklin Mardi Gras Parade - Franklin - begins at Franklin Senior High School on Main St.

  • Krewe of Hephaestus Parade - Morgan City - begins on the corner of Sixth and Sycamore St.

  • Siracusaville Parade - participants line up on Siracusa Road at 1:00 p.m. and proceed to James Street

Acadia Parish

February 26

  • Rayne Mardi Gras Parade - starting at the Frog Festival Pavilion 3:00 p.m.

March 1

  • Tee Mamou Iota Mardi Gras Parade - downtown Iota 2:30 p.m.

  • Carnival D'Acadie - N. Parkerson Ave in Crowley 3:00 p.m.

Evangeline Parish

March 1

  • Mamou Mardi Gras Parade - 10:00 am - parade will start at Lyons Market located on Poinciana Ave

Vermilion Parish

March 1

  • Krewe Chic A La Pie Mardi Gras Parade - downtown Kaplan. 2 p.m.
