If you don’t feel like cooking Thanksgiving dinner — or being at the mercy of the questionable dining practices of various family members — Miami-area restaurants are here for you.

Many local spots are offering special holiday menus featuring their own twist on Thanksgiving favorites. Here are just a few of them.

Thanksgiving Eve

Joliet

This Miami Beach seafood spot is celebrating Thanksgiving a day early on Nov. 22 with a three-course special menu and happy hour specials all night. Appetizers include fried green tomato and turkey gumbo, while the main course is a turkey dinner with smoked oyster dressing, candied yams, wild mushroom green bean casserole and hot honey cornbread. Dessert is a pumpkin pie bread pudding with pecan praline, gelato and rye dulce de leche.

Adrift Mare

The holiday menu at the Brickell restaurant of the “Gypsy Chef” David Myers includes a choice of two main courses, roasted lemon chicken or grilled branzino and a selection of side dishes like truffle stuffing, crispy potatoes and maple carrot. Dessert is either a pecan and walnut pie with sourdough ice cream or Basque cheesecake.

Amara at Paraiso

Chef Michael Schwartz’s Edgewater restaurant will feature a special a la carte Thanksgiving menu with Joyce Farms turkey ($58), porchetta ($48), roasted butternut squash ($16) or pumpkin risotto ($23) and more. Holiday desserts include pumpkin spice flan and apple pie empanadas (both $12).

Bourbon Steak

Michael Mina’s steakhouse is offering a three-course prix fixe menu that includes such appetizers as tuna sashimi, steak tartare, chef’s oyster selection and more. Entrees include filet mignon, roasted half-chicken, branzino or glazed short rip with sides dishes like truffle mac and cheese, potato puree or creamed spinach. Top it off with pumpkin pie, a cranberry beignet or Valrhona chocolate bitter orange cake.

Carbone

The sceniest restaurant on the scene will offer a four-course prix-fixe menu that includes the famous Caesar alla ZZ, Mario’s meatballs and glazed turkey breast with sides. Choose pecan pie or lemon cheesecake for dessert (we like the lemon cheesecake).

Cote

This Korean steakhouse in Miami’s Design District will feature a Cote tradition: a special Thanksgiving dinner that includes turkey mandoo, USDA Prime and American Wagyu cuts of meat and sides like sticky rice stuffing, japchae and Galbi Jjim. Pecan and pumpkin pie are also available. The sommelier team uses a special large format bottle to pour wine by the glass (past pours have included cult cru Beaujolais, aged Barbaresco and Bordeaux.

Dirty French Steakhouse

The Brickell steakhouse is featuring a three-course prix-fixe menu that starts with such appetizers as tuna tartare and beef carpaccio and leads to roasted Heritage turkey and four side dishes (you can also opt for prime rib). Pecan pie and creme brulee are the dessert choices.

Fiola Miami

This swanky Coral Gables restaurant is offering a three-course prix fixe menu including such appetizers as zucchini carpaccio, tuna tartare, Caesar salad and porcini mushroom soup and entrees like Heritage turkey, Akaushi Wagyu lasagna and eggplant al funghetto. Sides include creamed corn and potato fonduta. For dessert, choose between pumpkin pie, ricotta donuts and Basque cheesecake. The restaurant will also offer an a la carte menu.

Jaya at the Setai

At this glamorous spot on Miami Beach, diners can enjoy a special holiday version of The Setai’s jazz brunch that includes endless Roederer Champagne, special holiday dishes and Asian, seafood and dessert stations along with breakfast classics. The restaurant will also be open later for dinner, which will feature such specials as Peking duck spring rolls, pumpkin soup, turkey roulade and pumpkin spiced beignets, from 6-11 p.m.

Mamey

One of Chef Niven Patel’s restaurants at the Thesis Hotel, Mamey is offering a prix fixe holiday menu. Appetizers include farro salad, wahoo crudo and turkey wings, and diners can choose a Wampanoag pork chop or turkey roulade for an entree. Sides include cornbread, cranberry compote, garlic creamed spinach, whole roasted sweet potato, roasted baby carrots and chorizo and pumpkin stuffing. Dessert is carrot cake topped with a passion fruit cream cheese glaze.

MaryGold’s by Brad Kilgore

Located in the Arlo Miami hotel, this Wynwood restaurant is offering a special Thanksgiving menu that starts with a Caesar salad or prawn cocktail with brioche bread, then moves on to a roasted turkey breast with rosemary. Sides include sourdough and herb stuffing, brown butter garlic green beans, mashed potatoes and honeynut squash. Dessert is a choice of Key lime MaryGold, carrot cake bread pudding or sorbet.

Mirabella

The new Italian restaurant at the Fontainebleau features a three-course menu with starters like Island Creek oysters, butternut squash soup or salad. For your entree, choose between roasted turkey, tagliata or red snapper, and finish with pumpkin pie, apple crisp or dark chocolate pecan pie. Traditional Thanksgiving sides will also be served.

Pastis

This New York import in Wynwood is offering a three-course dinner that starts with celeriac soup with mushrooms or endive salad. The main course is herb-roasted turkey with classic sides like mashed potatoes, turkey sausage stuffing and Brussels sprouts, with a dessert of pecan or pumpkin pie.

Root & Bone

Enjoy a Southern-infused holiday at this South Miami restaurant, with a special three-course dinner that starts with drunkin’ deviled eggs, kale salad or Grandma Daisy’s Angel Biscuits to be followed by cider brined and fried turkey and confit leg with bourbon gravy. Sides include cornbread sage stuffing, Brussels sprouts, sweet potato mash, mac and cheese and more. Dessert choices are a warm pecan pie with bourbon ice cream or mini Key lime pie tarts

Zucca

The Italian restaurant inside the St. Michel Hotel in Coral Gables is offering a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with turkey with foie gras, apples, raisins and chestnuts and side dishes that include sauteed wild rice with leeks, butternut squash and truffles and green beans with toasted almonds. There are two dessert choices: warm pecan tart with vanilla ice cream or a pumpkin tart with mascarpone and amaret (desserts are $15 and not included). The regular a la carte menu is also available.
