What do you want to be when you grow up? Kids say the darndest things

The Kids Page is a compilation of responses written by kindergarten-grade eighth students from area schools. Students are asked a different question each month and answers are printed weekly.

This month’s question: What you want to be when you are grown up, and why this is what you want to be?

When I grow up I want to be a YouTuber. Because I would be able to play my favwrit vidoe games and get money for it plus be popular.

When I grow up I want to be in the NFL because my favorite sport is football. If I was in the NFL I would want to be a connerback or a receiver. I would want to be on the Browns.

Okay guys, when I grow up I want to be a farmer because it’s so much fun. You can ride your horses and you can give the chickens their feed. They can have their baby chicks. They are so cute. You can harvest the vegetables: cabbage, onions, all types of other stuff, too.

These are some reasons I want to be a movie actor. One reason I want to be a movie actor is to be in a cool action movie. Another reason I want to be a movie actor is to know how to know to use a camera. I want to be a movie actor so I can know about movies before anyone else. I want to be a movie actor so I can make a lot of money. Those are all the reasons I want to be a movie actor.

When I grow up I want to be an NBA player. I want to be a NBA player because I could play with Steph Curry in my dreams. I also want to because I will make big bills. I could break records and become famous. I can also get jersey swaps with other NBA players. I can be famous because I’m on TV and if I got drafted I would be famous. I would buy an mansion because I would be rich. Then to end my career I would have a car collection. That’s what I want to be when I grow up.

When I grow up I want to be a MLS player. I would make big bills. I would be rich. I would be able to play with Messi and Ronald in my dreams. I am good at it too. I will be to have autographs too. I wil be able to have a car collection. I would buy all the mac-n-cheese in the Walmart. That is what I would do when I grow up.
