'We Want Houston': Astros Fans Chant During Victory Parade
Fans gathered in the streets of Houston, Texas, on Monday, November 7, to celebrate the Astros’ World Series win, according to city officials.
The Astros beat the Philadelphia Phillies to win the World Series on Saturday, finishing the series four games to two.
Video posted by Twitter user @mikaylaa_cm on Monday shows people sporting Astros gear gathered along Houston’s Smith Street for the team’s victory parade.
The Houston Independent School District announced all of its schools and offices would be closed on Monday to allow students and employees to celebrate the team.
