Want to know more about the MARC expansion study? Virtual meeting planned Wednesday

The Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Transit Administration will hold a virtual public meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday to gather feedback on the recently released Brunswick Line Study Technical Report.

The study explores ways MARC train service could be extended farther into Western Maryland, with potential routes to Hagerstown and Cumberland.

The report contains information on the existing MARC Brunswick Line, potential markets for more riders, limitations, potential operations and projects, and Western Maryland alternatives.
