ASHWAUBENON — Hunter S. Thompson once said a serious football fan is never alone, a sentiment that "Packers party houses" take a few steps further — all the way to Lambeau Field.

That's likely why Sports Illustrated and the social media account Zillow Gone Wild are clamoring over a new listing at 2068 Wildwood Lane in Ashwaubenon replete with a hot tub, a wood fireplace, an in-ground pool and, oh yeah, Lambeau Field in the front yard.

Make a Move Realty has the four-bed, two-bath house listed for $699,900, a price real estate agent Cory Blohm said she won't increase — unless someone's interested enough to get into a bidding war over the highly coveted, 2,112-square-foot property. Blohm said it's been on the market for the last three months, but after Sports Illustrated expressed awe in the — relatively speaking — low asking price, interest has certainly spiked. And not just in the greater Green Bay area.

Considering that, a little more than six years ago, residential properties nearby Lambeau Field routinely listed anywhere between $500,000 and $1 million, and that houses in Brown County have a median home sale price that topped $300,000 in June, the nearly $700,000 property is kind of a steal.

"People are looking to invest," Blohm said. "With the draft coming up, that'll be a big moneymaker for anyone that's looking to invest."

When Blohm shows the property, people are constantly amazed that the land abuts Lambeau. Seeing that proximity in person does something to diehard Packers fans. And being able to watch other diehard Packers fans swarm the stadium as you float in the pool with your favorite beverage certainly ups the ante.

Prior to its listing, Blohm said the former owners turned their property into an Airbnb, and are now ready to retire and cut the house loose.

When the Green Bay Press-Gazette talked to Blohm, she was en route to showing the Wildwood Lane property. Unsurprisingly, she's been going back and forth from the Lambeau-adjacent house more frequently since the Sports Illustrated article published days before Christmas.

And perhaps to no one's surprise, it's the most popular house she and her cousin, who own Make a Move Realty, have ever listed.

"It's obviously a very fun location," Blohm said. "It has all the amenities, plus an in-ground pool, a hot tub room. It's a beautiful location."

The post on Zillow Gone Wild, posted two days ago, already has more than 50,000 likes and an array of colorful comments, with many poking fun of the concept of an outdoor pool in Wisconsin. People have also taken to X, formerly Twitter, with ideas of their own about how they'd take advantage of the global Packers frenzy.
