Former NBA players Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson will touch down in Sacramento for the Kings’ first playoff appearance in 17 years.

They will be at a local bar hanging out with fans following the Kings’ Saturday playoff matchup against the Golden State Warriors.

This Sunday, the duo will set up at Urban Roots Brewery and Smokehouse, located at 1322 V Street in midtown. There, they will host a live recording of their award-winning podcast, “All The Smoke,” followed by a mix-and-mingle.

All The Smoke is a weekly podcast series with Barnes and Jackson, who provide unapologetic, authentic, and at times unfiltered, perspectives on the most discussed topics in basketball, culture, social justice, politics, music and more.

Their podcast can be seen on Showtime or Youtube, and can be heard on Apple Podcasts or Spotify.

This episode’s theme is fittingly “Light the Beam” as Barnes and Jackson will be joined by Kings legend Jason “White Chocolate” Williams, as they plan to talk NBA playoffs, the Kings, and more.

The live taping of the show will occur in the Barrel Room at Urban Roots. The event is scheduled from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Tickets are on sale for $275 ($319.36 after fees and taxes) to attend the live show, which will be accompanied by dinner that will consist of prime rib with au jus, broccolini with smoked beurre blanc, horseradish whipped potatoes, glazed carrots, and seasonal green salad.

There are also alternative dinner options such as smoked salmon, chicken, or vegetarian. Unlimited beer and wine is included in the ticket price.

Roots Club discounts are not applicable for this event.

The venue is still open to the public during regular hours, which is 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.

Their patio area will feature a live stream of All The Smoke on a large screen. General admission is free, but will be on a first come, first served basis.

There will be food and beer at the bar, out on the patio, for ease of ordering.

The former NBA champions want you to meet them at Urban Roots Brewery to throw back a couple of beers, light one up, break bread, and have a good time with them. Tickets can be purchased here.
