The Coast’s food scene is very much a global one.

Locals and tourists are treated to the full spectrum and one of the best corners of our palates here is easily the strong and diverse Vietnamese and Thai restaurants dotted around the region.

There are many establishments and everyone has their favorites. Here’s a list of some of the best places to find Pho and other Southeast Asian dishes.

Le Bakery

Located on Oak Street in Biloxi, Le Bakery recently earned the Sun Herald’s Best Bakery honors through popular vote. It’s the preferred bakery for many local residents, serving up artisanal breads, rolls pastries and way more.

“We love this little Vietnamese bakery. It is an absolute must stop when we are in Biloxi. This time we had banh mi sandwiches and they were wonderful, very tasty and a good size!” One Tennessee TripAdvisor reviewer said.

Basil’s Cafe

Long Beach’s top-rated Vietnamese-Thai restaurant has built a strong customer base along Beatline Rd. The menu is extensive and features a strong mix of Thai and Vietnamese.

There’s something for everybody here, from fried rice to pho to protein-packed vermicelli bowls.

“A multitude of choices of delicious, super fresh foods! Great prices and service. Not fine dining, but the food would make you think it was,” one reviewer said.

VK Noodle House

One of the best Vietnamese places on the East side of Biloxi Bay is the VK Noodle House in Ocean Springs. Reviewers praise the service and the pho within a large menu. There’s also noodle soup that comes in varying levels of spicy with proteins like BBQ pork, shrimp or crab meat.

“Best pho’ on the coast! I eat here once a week. Never I disappoint! Soup or the sandwiches are awesome. But the curry is hard to beat!” One reviewer said.

Kien Giang

Kien Giang in D’Iberville is another popular place to get pho on the Coast. It’s known for its authentic menu that attracts strong reviews from locals and visitors alike.

“The BEST Pho I have ever had... I HIGHLY recommend. Ihad the Seafood Pho with veggie broth... Everything was fresh, crisp and DELICIOUS,” a Yelp reviewer said.
