Ukrainian national team star, Mykhailo Mudryk, shared his thoughts ahead of Ukraine’s EURO 2024 qualification match against England in an interview with the YouTube channel VZBIRNA on Sept. 6.

Ukraine will be the underdog in the match against England, but despite this, the blue-and-yellow are determined to defeat their famous opponents, said Mudryk, who also stars for English club Chelsea.

“They’re the favorites. They may think they’ll grab three points and win. That’s normal. But if you believe you’ll lose, it’s better not to step onto the field, especially when you’re playing for the Ukrainian national team.”

“We also want to win. We don’t want to take points away from England; we just want to pocket those points for ourselves,” he added.
