Love online grocery shopping? Here are your options in the Des Moines metro.

There are a lot of grocery delivery and pickup options to sift through. Here's a guide to what select retailers offer:

Instacart app

Note: Aldi, Costco, Sam's Club, Hy-Vee and other markets use Instacart for select services when fulfilling online orders for curbside pickup and delivery. Services are limited to store hours, and tips are suggested.

  • Curbside: Some prices on Instacart may be different from in-store prices.

  • Delivery: Instacart delivery starts at $3.99 for same-day orders of $35 or more, but fees vary. Requires minimum $10 order.

  • Accept SNAP? Yes.

Instacart also offers monthly and yearly subscriptions that remove delivery fees on orders over $35.

Fareway Meat & Grocery

  • Curbside: Curbside pickup is free with $30 minimum purchase. Pickup is available within three hours of ordering Monday through Saturday at all locations.

  • Delivery: Not currently but may be a future offering.

  • Accept SNAP? Not now. Fareway says it's working to adopt EBT/SNAP into its system.

Hy-Vee Aisles Online

  • Curbside: Pickup is free with a minimum $24.95 order at select Hy-Vee locations. Pickup is available within two hours for an additional $9.95.

  • Delivery: At select locations. Requires a minimum $24.95 order and starts with a $9.95 delivery fee. Free with H+ membership starting at $99 per year. Tips suggested.

  • Accept SNAP? At select locations.

Sam's Club

  • Curbside: Free with Plus membership option. Pickup is available Monday through Saturday starting at 7 a.m. and requires no minimum order.

  • Delivery: Select items are available for shipping.

  • Accept SNAP? No.

Target

  • Curbside: Free at all store locations. Nearly all Target locations deliver purchases to customers' vehicles via its "Drive Up" service. Pickup is available within two hours of order placement, but some stores may require up to six hours to fulfill the order.

  • Delivery: Available through the Shipt app with a $9.99 delivery fee. A $99 yearly Shipt membership offers free delivery for each Target order $35 and above.

  • Accept SNAP? At select locations.

Walmart

  • Curbside: Pickup is free and available within four hours from order placement. Orders placed after 4 p.m. will be available the following day.

  • Delivery: Available at select locations. Delivery fees vary depending on when groceries are ordered.

  • Accept SNAP? Yes.

Whole Foods

  • Curbside: Pickup available for free daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. in West Des Moines. Prime members can receive free one-hour pickup in select cities.

  • Delivery: Available with an Amazon Prime membership and includes a $9.95 service fee.

  • Accept SNAP? No.
