Wanted in Berks County, week of 9/26
Sep. 25—The Berks County Sheriff's Office is seeking the following fugitives:
—Josue Mejia-Medina, 24, who recently lived in the 700 block of North 25th Street, on a criminal attempt to homicide charge. He is about 6 feet and 215 pounds.
On May 16, a bench warrant was issued for Mejia-Medina for failure to appear for a jury trial on criminal attempt to homicide and aggravated assault charges, the Berks County Sheriff's Office said.
—Jose Tabares-Gonzalez, 24, who recently lived in the 100 block of West Greenwhich Street, on a delivery of a controlled substance charge. He is about 5 feet 8 inches and 200 pounds.
On March 29, Tabares-Gonzalez met with an undercover officer to exchange a quantity of "crack" cocaine for an undisclosed amount of money, the Berks County Sheriff's Office said. Charges were filed by the Berks County DA's Office detectives on July 11.
