Oct. 17—The Berks County sheriff's office is seeking the following fugitives:

Sheila Sheriff, 57, who recently lived in the 800 block of Schuylkill Avenue on charges of theft and receiving stolen property. She is about 5 feet 5 inches and 200 pounds. Reading police gave this account: Sheriff was an employee of the Family Dollar Store on 433 W. Douglass St., when she stole $14,642.39 from her employer. During August, Sheriff was in charge of depositing the money from all the cash registers daily to the Wells Fargo Bank. Sheriff was seen on camera putting the money bags into the store safe, but not closing the safe door. Once the other employees left the store, Sheriff was seen taking the money bag out of the safe and placing the money into a plastic bag.

Tamara Stump, 33, who recently lived in the first block of Bowers Road, Ontelaunee Township, on a bench warrant. She is about 5 feet 5 inches and 120 pounds. The sheriff's department said Stump failed to appear in Berks County Court on May 12 on two felony warrants for burglary charges.

Anyone with information about either fugitive is urged to contact the warrants division of the sheriff's department at 610-478-6390. Find the complete list of Berks County's most wanted at bit.ly/BerksMostWanted.
