Ironically, these calls have been noticed, particularly on the Telegram channel Soldiers' Widows of Russia.

"The assault on Avdiivka is a landmark event, like the Battle of Kursk and the Battle of Kulikovo. An event that will be talked about for centuries, and the participants will become heroes forever. Hurry up to sign a contract with the Russian Army to join the list of these heroes. We need people who are ready to fulfill this historic mission, those who have no fear. Become a part of the Russian legend," Russian "widows" promise their naive fellow citizens.
