He was wanted on a warrant in one county. He went on Facebook Live in the next county

Either Belleview , Florida, resident Timothy Munford didn’t realize there was a warrant out for his arrest or he realized he had a warrant out, but didn’t realize being on Facebook Live could facilitate that arrest.

Whichever, Munford wound up broadcasting his own arrest in Daytona Beach live on Facebook Friday.

Marion County, where the 25-year-old had a warrant, let Volusia County Sheriff’s Office know Munford was in Volusia, broadcasting and probably armed with a handgun with an extended magazine. VCSO deputies and Daytona Beach Shores Public Safety officers caught up with Munford.

As seen on Facebook, he’d just rented a Jet Ski.

And Munford’s legal situation got deeper when cops searched his car. VCSO says his car had a bag of powdered fentanyl, ammunition magazines, a silver Taurus G2c handgun and a black Taurus G2c in his car. The guns and bullets fall into the No-No column for Munford, a convicted felon a few times over.

So, in addition to the warrant out of Marion County, Munford had charges of fentanyl trafficking; three counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm or ammunition; possession of drug paraphernalia; and violating the probation he started in February for witness harassment.

In addition to witness harassment, the 5-foot-6, 160-pound Munford’s criminal history includes convictions for petit theft (three times), grand theft, fraudulent use of a credit card, battery and battery domestic violence (twice, the second time for punching his girlfriend several times as she drove the car).
