Trendy glasses brand Warby Parker is opening a Knoxville store – here's where

No need to wipe off your glasses, Warby Parker really is opening a store in Knoxville.

Warby Parker started in 2010 as an online glasses retailer, and has since added storefronts and expanded to more than 200 stores in the United States and Canada, including three in the Nashville area.

Knoxville is getting its first Warby Parker store at 5356 Kingston Pike, near the Buttermilk Sky Pie in Bearden. The company's website says the Knoxville location is opening this year, but doesn't list an opening date.

The retailer sells glasses and sunglasses for all ages. Frames with prescription lenses cost between $95-$195. In 2019, Warby Parker started to sell its own daily contact lenses called Scout for $55, and also sells other brands of contact lenses.

Stores also provide eye exams on site. Eye exams start at $85.
