Waretown Wine Festival Postponed Until 2021 Due To Coronavirus

WARETOWN, NJ — The Waretown Wine Festival won't take place until next year because of coronavirus concerns. The event was originally slated for last spring and postponed until September. Organizers have now pushed it to April 25 and 26.

The festival is one of New Jersey's most popular wine events. Vendors who have registered can either get a refund or apply it to next year's event. The same is true for Group and EventBrite customers who have already purchased tickets.

"While we are disappointed to share this news, the health and safety of our residents, guests and vendors remain our top priority," said Township of Ocean Business Administrator Diane Ambrosio. "Hopefully by spring we will be ‘back to normal’ and we can have a wonderful event. Stay well and we look forward to seeing you next year.”

The Waretown Wine Festival features tastings, live entertainment, crafters, retail vendors and food.
