Warmest stretch of weather so far this year is underway

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The warmest stretch of weather so far this year is underway this week. Temperatures will warm quickly back into the mid and upper ’80s this afternoon, some spots will hit 90 degrees.

Outside of the above average temperatures, the weather pattern is quiet with dry conditions and mostly sunny skies expected through the weekend.

Humidity will gradually build back in toward the end of the week and into the weekend bringing feels like temperatures into the low 90s each afternoon.

A weak cold front will pass through Monday afternoon and into early Tuesday bringing a few showers and thunderstorms. Not everyone will see rain and rain chances are just at a 30% for Monday afternoon, and a 20% for early Tuesday.

Slightly lower humidity will move back in but temperatures will get warm again for the middle and end of next week with highs back in the mid ’80s.
