The cooler, brisk temperatures aren’t lasting long. Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says a warming trend is now underway with temperatures today climbing into the mid-70s with partly sunny skies. It’ll still be breezy.

Saturday looks to be the pick day of the weekend with temperatures nearing 80 degrees inland but cooler at the beaches. It’ll be partly sunny.

On Sunday we’ll have increasing clouds and a few showers developing. It’s still warm in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees.

The new work and school week starts cooler but dry. Temperatures will be in the low 70s - which is average for early December.

We warm right back to the upper 70s by Tuesday and stay rather warm.
