Warner Robins woman shoots brother to stop him from beating her husband, police say

On Friday, the Warner Robins Police Department responded to a shots fired/person shot call during a family domestic issue.

A Warner Robins woman told police she shot her brother Friday who had been striking her husband in the head with a pipe and failed to stop.

Once the scene was cleared, the male suspect, 62, was stabilized and transported to Navicent-Atrium for treatment.

The caller’s husband, 68, was stabilized and transported to Houston Healthcare-Watson Campus.

Because the case is being investigated as a domestic violence matter, names of those involved are currently being withheld.

The Warner Robins Police Department is actively investigating the incident.
