- Authorities on Long Island today issued an urgent public safety announcement warning residents about the sale of illicit substances pressed to look like prescription pills. Now, this includes an emerging trend of methamphetamine pressed into pills and marketed as Adderall. Also observed over the past several years is fentanyl marketed as oxycodone. The Suffolk County District Attorney says this alarming trend is putting users' lives at risk.

- This is a particular danger for those who abuse Adderall, who use Adderall recreationally, thinking they may be taking a 5 milligram to 30 milligram pill of Adderall. They're actually ingesting pure crystal meth, which is extremely dangerous.

- Authorities say three alleged drug dealers peddling these type of pills were arrested in the last four days.
