- Nurses striking at St. Vincent's Hospital in Worcester got some high-powered support today.
ELIZABETH WARREN: When our nurses go out on strikes, they only do it for our safety and for the safety of the people who are on the front lines doing the work. It is time for St. Vincent's to get back to the bargaining table and to recognize that work.
- Senator Elizabeth Warren and Congressman Jim McGovern visited the picket line to stand with union members. And this morning, former Congressman Joe Kennedy III was also out there joining the nurses.
The nurses have been on strike since Monday. They are demanding more staffing, saying it is crucial to safe patient care.
