Memphis Grizzlies fans will have to wait longer to boo a familiar nemesis in Golden State Warriors forward Andre Iguodala.

The Warriors announced Thursday that Iguodala has made progress from a disc injury in his neck but will re-evaluated again in one week. That means he's out for the next three games, including Game 5 in Memphis on Wednesday.

Iguodala hasn't played during this series and has missed the past three games for the Warriors.

Grizzlies fans have booed Iguodala since he was traded to Memphis before the 2019-20 season, along with a 2024 first-round pick. He and the Grizzlies reached an agreement that he didn't have to report to the team until they found a suitable trade for him.

Iguodala was traded to the Miami Heat at the 2020 trade deadline in a deal that brought Justise Winslow to the Grizzlies. Iguodala has returned to Memphis twice this season and was loudly booed when he entered the game or touched the ball.

Dillon Brooks, who criticized Iguodala in 2020 for his decision, continued his feud in March after the Grizzlies defeated the Warriors.

"We all had the vision and he didn’t, which is perfect," Brooks said. "Send him back to the Warriors and let him do his thing over there."

With Iguodala in street clothes on the bench, fans have found another heel this series in Draymond Green. He taunted them in Game 1 after his ejection and flipped them off in Game 2 after leaving to get stitches for a right eye laceration
