Draymond makes NBA history with this crazy unique stat originally appeared on NBC Sports Bayarea

Stop comparing other players to Draymond Green. Just stop it.

That means no more comparisons to other players in the NBA. The same goes with college players and draft prospects. There's only one Draymond, simple as that.

Green made NBA history this season, which proves that exact point. The Warriors' do-it-all point forward became the first player ever to appear in at least 30 games and finish with more rebounds and assists than points scored.

The 31-year-old averaged just 7.0 points per game, his lowest since his second season as a pro. But he also averaged a career-high 8.9 assists and 7.1 rebounds.

Green is the lead facilitator for the Warriors' offense, has an unspoken chemistry with Steph Curry on that side of the ball and remains one of the best defenders in the game. His 3.3 Defensive Box Plus/Minus was his best since he registered a 3.9 DBPM in 2016-17, when he was named Defensive Player of the Year.

What Green did in the Warriors' regular-season finale in Golden State's win over the Memphis Grizzlies is exactly what this team needs. He finished with 14 points, nine rebounds and nine assists. Once again, he did it all. But the points are important here.

Green scored at least 10 points 19 times this season. In those 19 games, the Warriors went 15-4.

There's no doubt Draymond will get his assists and rebounds. If he can get to double-digits in the play-in tournament and playoffs, the Warriors could be a scary team.
