Warriors’ Vice President of Basketball Strategy makes SF Business Times 40 under 40

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Onsi Saleh, the Golden State Warriors Vice President of Basketball Strategy and Team Counsel, made the 2024 San Francisco Business Times 40 Under 40 list.

This list recognizes business leaders under 40 who are making significant contributions to their company and the Bay Area community, according to the San Francisco Business Times.

Saleh serves as one of the team’s strategic advisors for roster construction, including trades, signings and draft strategies for the Warriors. He also oversees league compliance, salary cap, collective bargaining agreement analysis, immigration, and more, according to the San Francisco Business Times.

In Saleh’s time with the San Antonio Spurs, he performed several roles. His last role was the club’s director of strategy and process/chief of staff. Prior to Saleh’s time with the Spurs, he served as a legal clerk for the 22nd Judicial District Court of Louisiana and an intake specialist with the Louisiana Civil Justice Center, according to the NBA website.

Saleh received his Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from the University of Alberta and  Doctor of Law from Tulane University Law School in 2017.
