Washington prepares $2.6 billion military aid package for Ukraine, Reuters reports

According to the sources, the package will include six different types of munitions, including tank rounds, guided aircraft munitions, repair and recovery vehicles, as well as additional ammunition for HIMARS rocket artillery systems. The sources added that the contents of the aid package are still subject to change.

On March 28, Politico reported that former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will arrive in Ukraine on April 3.

On March 20, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced a $350 million military aid package to Ukraine. It included more HIMARS ammunition, howitzers and Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, HARM high-velocity anti-radar missiles, anti-tank weapons, and river boats.
