Highlights of Monday’s meeting of Washington Township trustees:
Department reports
Park – No report.
Zoning – No report.
Fire –
• Twenty-six runs in January so far. Runs included 17 medical, two motor vehicle crashes, one mutual aid, one burning complaint and one carbon monoxide call.
• Trustees approved a motion to repair brakes on Truck No. 2
• Chief reported the department’s annual breakfast will be April 3.
• Trustees set a work session with the Fire Department for 6:30 p.m. Jan. 26.
Road – No report.
Other action
• Trustees paid bills for $17,297.30.
• Trustees approved a motion to place a five-year, 0.75 fire levy renewal on the May 3 ballot.
UPCOMING – Trustees’ next regular meeting will be Feb. 7 at Township Hall.
