Washington Twp. trustees set Fireman's Breakfast date
Highlights of March 20 meeting of Washington Township trustees:
John Pavel from the Stark County Board of Health the introduced himself and gave a brief overview of his duties and contact information.
Department reports
Park – Park is now open, and restrooms will open soon.
Zoning – Two permits issued.
Fire – As of meeting date, department had 96 runs for the year. The annual Fireman's Breakfast will be 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 16.
Road – snow and ice control and ditching on Anderson and parts of Cenfield. Trustees approved orders for DJL Materials for $1721.25 for a skid of crack sealer. Trustees approved motion to advertise for bids for the summer paving program, stone and gravel. Trustees said bids must be in by noon May 1, and will be opened at 7 p.m. at the May 1 trustees meeting.
UPCOMING – Trustees next will meet at 6:30 p.m. April 3 at Township Hall.
