How to Watch the 2020 ACM Awards Live Stream

Hold on to your boots and cowboy hats: the Academy of Country Music Awards are back for 2020 with all your favorite acts. The show airs live on Sept. 16 with performances by Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw and more — Taylor Swift will be making an appearance, too.

How to Watch the Award Show

The 2020 Academy of Country Music Awards air Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS. The show will also air live on the CBS All Access app; if you are not already a CBS or cable subscriber, non-members can sign up for a free week trial of the app at CBS.com.

Who Is the Host?

Keith Urban will be hosting the show for the first time. The country music star is set to take the stage at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville and is also up for the Male Artist of the Year award.

Who Is Nominated?

Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan and Thomas Rhett are amongst those nominated for Entertainer of the Year; Underwood is also up for Female Artist of the Year alongside Marren Morris, Miranda Lambert, Kelsea Ballerini and Kacey Musgraves. The Male Artist of the Year nominees list includes Luke Combs, Dierks Bentley, Chris Stapleton and Thomas Rhett, in addition to host Keith Urban.

A few winners have already been announced for a selection of awards, including “Remember You Young” by Thomas Rhett for Video of the Year, as well as Tenille Townes and Riley Green for Female and Male Artists of the Year, respectively.

Who Is Performing?

For the first time in seven years, Taylor Swift leads the impressive lineup of performances for the show, many of which will take place with distanced precautions at the Grand Ole Opry House and the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. Other performers includ Blake Shelton with Gwen Stefani, Trisha Yearwood, Tim McGraw and more.

Who Is Presenting?

Lily Aldridge, Darius Rucker, Lauren Alaina and Runaway June are amongst the stars making appearances throughout the show to assist with giving out the night’s awards.
