College football is back.

Alabama football is set to face Utah State in the 2022 season opener on Saturday, September 3 in Tuscaloosa.

Alabama is ranked No. 1 by both the Associated Press preseason poll and USA Today Sports AFCA Coaches Poll. The Crimson Tide lost the National Chamionship to Georgia last season.

Utah State was 11-3 last season. The Aggies have played one game in the 2022 season, defeating Connecticut 31-20 on August 27.
