Watch: The Best Damn Band in the Land halftime show during Ohio State vs. Notre Dame

The Ohio State football team began the 2022 college football season on Sept. 3 as the Buckeyes welcomed Notre Dame to Ohio Stadium.

And with the start of the season means the Best Damn Band in the Land, the Ohio State University Marching Band, returned to Safelite Field for its home halftime show concert.

The performance went over better than the "O-H-I-O" chant did earlier in the day during "ESPN College GameDay" when Desmond Howard left the broadcast.

The halftime show's theme was "Buckeye Jazz Café."
