After nearly an entire season sitting out the second half of back-to-back games and keeping his minutes from going too long, Boston Celtics starting point guard Kemba Walker looks more or less like the player the Celtics hoped they had signed at the start of his tenure with the team.

While he might have had a rough start to his season, needing extended time to find his shot and reconfigure his game to the shifting hierarchies on the roster, the UConn product has looked like the elite scorer Boston needs to make a deep run of late. In the last four games he has played in, Walker has averaged 27.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game — but is he ready for the playoffs?

The folks over at the CLNS Media podcast “The Garden Report” weigh in on where they think the New Yorker is at, and whether he’ll be up to the fairly substantial task in front of him.

Watch the video embedded above to hear their takes ahead of his game against the Chicago Bulls tonight, where we’ll get an important test of that theory.
