What is Boy Meets World about?

At the very least, you’ve probably heard a couple of references to Boy Meets World over the years. It was once an inescapable TV hit; its audience quite literally grew up with it over the course of its seven-year, seven-season, 158-episode run. t

The Graduate’s William Daniels plays the iconic Mr. Feeny; Ben Savage stars as the relatable Cory Matthews, who struggles with everything from girl problems to haircuts that only look good for about one day out of the month (or so he says). Cory has a best friend named Shawn, a brother named Eric, and a long-term sweetheart named Topanga.

The first season starts off in middle school, the bulk of the show spans the students’ high-school years, and then things wrap up with college, marriage, and the trials of adulthood. It’s a cute, charming, ambitious sitcom that encompasses a lot of the lessons young people learn while growing up.
