Watch: Bryce Perkins breaks 3 tackles on ridiculously good 3rd-down scramble

As much as the Rams want to see Bryce Perkins play well in the preseason, the better he performs, the tougher it’ll be to cut him – and likely lose him to a team on the waiver wire.

He got off to a great start this preseason against the Chargers on Saturday night when he broke off one of the best 9-yard runs you’ll see by a quarterback. It came on third down, and two defenders had a clean shot on Perkins in the backfield.

He spun off both defenders, then scrambled to his right and stiff-armed a Charger to the turf, picking up the necessary yardage to move the chains.

It doesn’t get much better than that for a third-string quarterback. He’s a highly athletic player with a live arm, too.
