WATCH: Celtics icon Larry Bird’s 1992 Barcelona Olympics highlights with the Dream Team

With the United States poised to kick off Olympic play in Tokyo, Japan for the Summer Games in just a few hours, we thought we would take a look back at the last time the Boston Celtics had an active player on Team USA.

It was quite some time ago. That player was Larry Bird as part of the 1992 Dream Team competing for gold in Barcelona, Spain. He retired soon after, but left us with some highlights worth remembering compiled in this video put together by our friends at CLNS Media’s “History and Legends” channel.
