Ahead of its annual Métiers d'Art show, set to be held Tuesday in the snowy Austrian city of Salzburg, Parisian luxury brand Chanel has revealed Karl Lagerfeld's latest film.
With Géraldine Chaplin as Gabrielle 'Coco' Chanel, model Cara Delevingne, and Pharrell Williams, "Reincarnation" was directed by Lagerfeld and is designed to accompany the Chanel Paris-Salzburg 2014/15 Métiers d'art collection.
In the seven-minute film, Delevingne and Williams play 20th century hotel workers (while Madame Chanel is staying as a guest in Salzburg) who escape into a nighttime fantasy, dancing to a soundtrack of "CC The World." The song was written especially for the occasion by Pharrell, and is sung by the musician and the model as a duet. The two leads will also be the face of the campaign when it launches.
Alongside the aforementioned stars, keep an eye peeled for regular Lagerfeld and Chanel collaborators including Amanda Harlech, Jamie Bochert, Baptiste Giabiconi, and the designer's own godson (who's also walked in shows for the brand), young Hudson Kroenig.
