Frank Clark’s offseason all started with a heart-to-heart with Kansas City Chiefs HC Andy Reid. That honesty inspired Clark to reevaluate some things this offseason. He cut out red meat and liquor, but he also rededicated himself to the game. As a result, Clark had a much more productive season and postseason, recording 2.5 sacks over the past two games.

After the AFC Championship Game over the Cincinnati Bengals, cameras caught a moment between Clark and his head coach. The league’s behind-the-scenes show on Paramount Plus, “Inside The NFL” shared the moment between the two in a clip on Twitter.

“Love you, coach,” Clark says.

“Love you too, man,” Reid responds.

The two share an embrace and Clark says to Reid.

“Got you another one, huh? Got you another one. Love you, dawg. We’re the ones. Got our *expletive* back.”

All the while, Reid is just laughing maniacally as if this was the plan all along. Two Los Angeles natives, helping their team achieve greatness in winning the Lamar Hunt Trophy, heading to the Super Bowl again for the third time in the last four years. They’ve still got work to do in order to hoist the Lombardi Trophy, but it’s hard to not appreciate such a tender moment between the two.
