How to watch the Cincinnati Bearcats play Alabama in the Cotton Bowl on New Year's Eve

After the University of Cincinnati Bearcats won the American Athletic Conference and made the College Football Playoffs, they'll have a new opponent to face: Alabama.

Sunday, the College Football Playoff committee ranked Alabama first, Michigan second, Georgia third and Cincinnati fourth in the final rankings.

The Bearcats will play the Crimson Tide in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic on New Year's Eve.

Michigan and Georgia will play in the Capitol One Orange Bowl the same day, and the winner of each will face off in the national championship on Jan. 10 in Indianapolis.

How to watch UC play Alabama in the Cotton Bowl

Kickoff for the UC-Alabama Cotton Bowl game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, is set for 2:30 p.m. CT or 3:30 ET Dec. 31.
