While Bieber has four Opening Day starts, and former Cy Young winner Corey Kluber had five, they still trail Cleveland's best pitcher of all time. Hall of Famer Bob Feller holds the franchise record with seven Opening Day starts. Bullet Bob was Opening Day starter from 1939 through 1941. After serving in World War II, Feller started Opening Day 1946-1949.

Bob Feller, one the greatest fastball pitchers in baseball, threw three no-hitters, including one on Opening Day in 1940. His sizzling delivery is shown in this 1948 World Series sequence when he pitched against the Boston Braves.
