Former UNC basketball guard Cole Anthony added an interesting new teammate to his Orlando Magic roster last week at the NBA Draft.

Duke forward Paolo Banchero was selected No. 1 overall by the Orlando Magic in last week’s draft and has already begun building a relationship with the Magic guard.

Anthony, originally from New York, was back in town over the last few weeks and invited his new teammate to workout with him.

Banchero averaged 17.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game in his lone season for Duke. The 6-foot-10 forward will add to one of the youngest NBA rosters in the league in Orlando, but his skill on the perimeter will be a welcomed addition.

For Anthony, he is coming off of his second season in the NBA. He averaged 16.3 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game last year. He had nine double-doubles with points and then either rebounds or assists last year. His best scoring output was 33 points twice.

Below is a video of the two working out together.
