WATCH: Out-of-control truck slams into gas station pump

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A driver is lucky to walk away uninjured after their pickup truck spun out of control and crashed into a gas pump, causing an explosion on Sunday.

According to the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred on Feb. 4, around 5:55 p.m., at a Speedway located in La Plata, New Mexico. When authorities arrived, they saw “significant damage” to the metal awning and a gray pickup truck resting in a yard near the gas station.

TikTok user @extrezionx captured the shocking video on his dashcam as he was approaching the Speedway. In the video, you can hear the user yell, “Oh my god,” as the truck slams into the gas station’s pumps, causing the structure to collapse right before his eyes.
