The House Jan 6. Committee is slated to hold its next hearing today.  Earlier this month, a primetime stage gave millions of Americans the opportunity to watch the first of the scheduled eight public hearings. Major networks broadcasted the committee’s findings to more than 20 million TV viewers.

Last week, two daytime hearings were held. The last hearing focused on Donald Trump’s attempts to pressure former Vice President Mike Pence to stop the official certification of the election results on Jan. 6.

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) said the next hearing would focus on Trump’s bid to persuade state level officials to overturn the election results.
