MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG-TV) — Some of the smallest revelers let the good times roll today.

Preschoolers participated in the Order of Impalas parade at St. Ignatius Catholic School in Mobile. Students’ parents decorated over 115 floats.

The Order of Impalas parade is in its 27th year. This year’s theme was “Storybook Characters.”

WKRG News 5 Anchor Devon Walsh‘s daughter, Janie, was our “Kid Correspondent” for the parade.

She showed us her favorite floats and introduced us to the King and Queen. She also interviewed some young revelers about their favorite part of the parade.

Janie is 12 years old. She will appear during WKRG’s Fat Tuesday coverage, which will showcase the Order of Impalas Parade.
